ATV Kundasang Adventure

For a dose of adventure, explore Kundasang on an ATV (all-terrain vehicle), rambling through kampung (village) cottages while observing how the locals live. The cool mountain air, scenic views and friendly greets from the friendly locals will enhance your experience.

Things You Should Know

• You may request to drop by the local market in Kundasang town. Kindly note that optional activities such as the purchases from Nabalu and Kundasang markets, dairy products and feed for calves in dairy farm are on own expense. 
• Baby Car Seats (for infant aged 0-2) and Child Booster Seats (for children aged 3-11) are available for rental. Please check with your Tour Consultant for availability.
• Kinabalu Park
• Kinabalu National Park is approximately 1,500 meters above sea level and can get cold, please bring along warm clothing.
• You can choose to wait at the resting area if you do not wish to proceed with the Botanical Gardens trek.
• You may opt to explore other nature trails on your own, feel free to arrange with your tour guide. 
• ATV Adventure
• Includes hairnet, mask gloves, protector guard kits & helmet.
• Participants need to be 18 years old and above with a valid car/bike driver’s license.
• Please provide a photo or scanned copy of the original license for verification; those below 17 years old must be accompanied by parents.
• We reserve the right to instruct you to ride as a pillion passenger to ensure your safety. For double ATV (2 riders), weight of the two-person combined must be less than 120kg.
• Double ATV can be riskier, especially going up or downhill. As so, it is important for the both riders to have good balance. Please enquire before making any bookings as there are limited Double ATVs.
• Please be advised that these tours involve an element of risk, and participants are required to sign a liability waiver form prior to activity.
• If the tour cannot be held due to safety reasons, a substitute tour, postponement, or a full refund will be offered. You are encouraged to purchase your travel insurance for a peace of mind during your tour. Kindly note that ATV ride may be affected by weather conditions or other conditions beyond our control after the tour has commenced.
• Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in ATV ride.

• Outskirt Hotels Pick-Up & Drop Off Surcharges
• Additional charges of MYR 30 per pax are chargeable for outskirt hotels pick-ups. Outskirt charges applicable for hotels outside of Kota Kinabalu city area & 1Borneo Area. 
• Private Tour Service
• Request for Private Tour at a reasonable fee (private guide & vehicle).
• This package is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transport vehicle. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making the bookings.
• Departure time is approximate and varies from different hotels due to traffic conditions, please reconfirm with our staffs. Should the transport be delayed, please call the relevant telephone number as stated on the voucher before making alternative arrangements.
• Effective 1 January 2026, the use of single-use plastic bags is strictly prohibited in all Sabah Parks. This policy is implemented to safeguard the natural environment and protect both marine and forest ecosystems from pollution and long-term harm. Visitors are required to bring their own reusable eco bags when entering any Sabah Parks area.

Useful Travel Tips

• Expect more crowds then usual during the weekends and public holidays, as it is also a popular getaway for locals.
• Please bring along jacket, sunglasses and changes of cloths for this activity as you may experience changes in weather, be it strong winds or sudden rain. A jacket can also prevent you from getting a sunburn.
