Which currency does SabahTravel accept?

For now, SabahTravel only accepts Ringgit Malaysia, but we will expand more currency options in the future.

Did you charge me twice since I receive two receipts for one booking?

Normally we will only send out one receipt. If you get multiple receipts, the error might be from the payment platform. You can check your bank account balance a few days after you booked your trip. Contact your bank to release the funds if the authorization is still there.

I have a problem with the payment process. What should I do?

If you’re having a problem paying, you can; a) Try refreshing the payment page, or try again later. b) Try a different card for payment. The card that you’re using might be a rejected card. c) For payment via GrabPay, consider topping up your wallet to ensure sufficient balance, verifying that you haven't exceeded your transaction limits, or settling any outstanding unpaid transactions. How secure is SabahTravel payment process?

How can I get a refund?

Refunds will be based on our cancellation policies. No refunds will be made for cancellations after the tour has commenced or for any unutilised tour services such as transfer, meals & accommodation, sightseeing, or other services. If a refund is required, it will be credited back to you using the same method as when you made payment. Do take note that refunds will be processed within 14 - 28 working days.

I haven't received my refund. What should I do?

Refunds normally take 14 - 28 working days to be processed. If you have not received your refund within this time period, do send us an email at hello@sabahtravel.com.

Do I get my refund through bank or by cash?

Refunds will be credited to you using the same method as when you made payment.

How long do I have to wait for my voucher after completing my payment?

Different activity requires different confirmation time. Generally, the confirmation will either be instantly or within 24-hour time.

How do I check my booking status?

After your payment is confirmed, you will receive an email of Order Summary and your e-voucher coupon. You can use the e-voucher to log into SabahTravel.com to see your activity details.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will be able to fill in your particulars. Should you have any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, halal, etc), kindly write down your special request in the "remarks" box (e.g. vegetarian, no garlic & onions). Please note that we cannot guarantee your special request can always be met especially where meals are in buffet style. Make sure to pack some vegetarian condiments & dried food to complement your meals.

About Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring

Poring Hot Spring opening hours: 08:00AM - 5:00PM (Daily), Canopy Walkway last entry 3:00PM.
Kinabalu Park is at high altitude approximately 1500 meter above sea level, so it can get cold.
The Canopy Walkway is approximately 60 meter above the ground, not for the faint-hearted.
Poring Hot Spring Outdoor Bathtubs usage is chargeable at RM10 per tub.
There are ten (10) standard and five (05) deluxe Indoor Bathubs at Poring Hot Spring. Rates are at RM25 per hour per standard indoor bathtub and RM35 per hour per deluxe indoor bathtub (subject to availability).
The Slide Pool located in Poring Hot Springs is closed every Monday for maintenance. Guests are able to purchase the entrance fee (at own expense) to Slide Pool for RM3 per person.
Kindly take note that camera fees apply before entering Canopy Walk. Cameras will be charged MYR 5 each and Video Cameras / Camcorders will be charged MYR 30 each.
Butterfly Farm located at Poring Hot Springs is closed on Mondays.
Depending on the season, you may get the rare chance to spot the Rafflesia flowers in bloom, which only lasts for 3 to 5 days. They are located at the private gardens beside Poring Hot Springs. Entrance fees are at MYR 30 per person though this will be at your own expenses.
You can choose to wait at the resting area if you do not wish to proceed for any of the nature walks.

Important Notes

This tour package is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transportation. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making the bookings.
Departure time is approximate and varies from different hotels due to traffic conditions, please reconfirm with our staffs. Should the transport be delayed, please call the relevant telephone number as stated on the voucher before making alternative arrangements.
Check-in and check-out times for most hotels and resorts are between 14:00 hrs (2pm) and 12:00 hrs (12pm) respectively. However, it may vary depending on the accommodation. Kindly check with your respective accommodation for more accurate information.
Each room must be shared by a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 people; if a third person prefers a separate room, an additional 50% charge applies.
Under the regulation from Malaysia's Ministry of Tourism and Culture, foreign tourists are required to pay a Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX) at a flat rate of MYR10 per room per night regardless of the accommodation's star rating and to be paid upon check-in. Malaysians or permanent residents are exempted from the TTX and is required to present a valid identification upon check-in.
Effective 1 January 2026, the use of single-use plastic bags is strictly prohibited in all Sabah Parks. This policy is implemented to safeguard the natural environment and protect both marine and forest ecosystems from pollution and long-term harm. Visitors are required to bring their own reusable eco bags when entering any Sabah Parks area.
Tours merchant reserves the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation reserved should conditions beyond our control render it necessary.

Remarks: Please be informed that the Poring Canopy Walkway at Poring Substation, Kinabalu Park, Ranau will be temporarily closed from 30th July 2025 until further notice for major maintenance work.
