Important Notes

• This tour package is based on join-in basis of shared guide and transportation. Private Guide or Tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform us when making the bookings.
• Activities are subject to weather conditions, and may be re-organised to best meet operational situations.
• We do not guarantee wildlife sightings.
• We reserve the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation should conditions beyond our control render it necessary.
• Children below 7 years old (based on year of birth) without using extra mattress stay free-of-charge (FOC).
• Departure time is approximate and may vary due to traffic condition and hotel distance. Kindly check with the operator as stated on the voucher should you need further assistance.
• Under the regulation from Malaysia's Ministry of Tourism and Culture, foreign tourists are required to pay a Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX) at a flat rate of MYR10 per room per night regardless of the accommodation's star rating and to be paid upon check-in. Malaysians or permanent residents are exempted from the TTX and is required to present a valid identification upon check-in.

• Outstation Transfers Bilit/Sukau – LDU or vice versa: MYR 550 per 4WD per way (1-3 pax)
• Outstation Transfers Sandakan – LDU or vice versa: MYR 650 per 4WD per way (1-3 pax)
• Outstation Transfers Tawau/Semporna – LDU or vice versa: MYR 550 per 4WD per way (1-3 pax)
• Private Tour Guide: MYR 350 per day
• Private Bird Guide/Specialist: MYR 550 per day
• Special Interest Drive (Min 2 Hrs): MYR 250 per vehicle per hour (Max 4 pax)  

Additional Information

• Please note that the itinerary provided in the DVFC packages serves as a sample, and you are encouraged to customize the activities after consulting with your nature guide upon arrival.
• Please ensure you are holding an air ticket to Lahad Datu.
• Cell phone coverage is available but limited depending on weather conditions and satellite function. Be prepared to have no coverage for some of your stay.
• The generators will shut down from 23:00 - 07:00 hours. Battery-powered lamps are provided in each room but you may wish to bring your own torchlight.
• Always check with the airline's schedules for the correct flight timings that are most suited to your needs.
• Though it is never expected, tipping is always appreciated.
