  • Book flights arriving in Kota Kinabalu by 2:00PM on the first day to ensure timely boarding for North Borneo Cruises. If your arrival is after 2:00PM, your cruise session may be moved to Day 3. 
  • This package is based on a join-in basis of shared guide and transport vehicle. Private guide or tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform your tour operator when making the bookings. 
  • The departure time may vary slightly depending on your hotel location and traffic conditions. Please reconfirm the exact timing with your tour operator if needed. If your transport is delayed, please contact the number listed on your voucher before arranging alternative options.

  • Meal Plan for Gaya Island Resort is strictly based on the restaurants stated. If a restaurant is closed, an alternative venue will be advised. Dining times are subject to the operating hours of each respective restaurant. A la carte dishes can be selected from each restaurant.
  • Lunch and dinner consist of appetiser, main course and dessert.
  • Beverage selection includes house wine, house beer, juices, soft drinks, coffee and tea.

  • All-Inclusive RM350 per person per day.

  • Lunch: Feast Village, Pool Bar & Lounge or Tavajun Bay

  • Meal plan is only available on pre-purchased or on the day of arrival at Gaya Island Resort.
  • Rates for meal plan pre-purchased in advance are nett per person per day and non-commissionable.
  • Rates for meal plan purchased on arrival at the resort will be subjected to service charge and GST.
  • Proper dress code to be adhered to and children below 12 years of age are not allowed in Fisherman's Cove.
  • The all-inclusive beverages to be consumed during meal time only.
  • All-inclusive house beverages are at the resort's discretion and subject to change.
  • The meal plan is inclusive of one lunch and one dinner per person per day and restricted to one dining outlet per meal.
  • For children aged between 2 to 11 years, 50% of the adult rate will be applicable.

Additional Info

  • Notes on Kinabalu National Park & Poring Hot Spring: 
  • Kinabalu National Park sits at approximately 1,500 metres above sea level, so temperatures can get quite chilly. 
  • The Canopy Walkway is suspended around 30 metres above ground and may not be suitable for those with a fear of heights. 
  • Poring Hot Spring is open daily from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. 
  • Outdoor bathtubs at Poring Hot Spring are complimentary. Indoor bathtubs are available for rent at RM 15/hour (standard) and RM 20/hour (deluxe) but are subject to availability and payable on-site. 
  • The Slide Pool is closed every Monday for maintenance. Entry fees are RM3 per person (free for children aged 6 and below). 
  • Camera fee charges apply at the Canopy Walk – RM5 for cameras and RM30 for video cameras or camcorders. 
  • A resting area is available for guests who prefer to skip nature walks. 
  • During certain seasons, you may have the chance to see the rare Rafflesia flowers in bloom at private gardens next to Poring Hot Springs. Entry to see the Rafflesia is RM30 per person, at your own expense, as the bloom lasts only 3-5 days. 
  • Guests are recommended to bring warm clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, flip flops, etc. 
  • Though it is never expected, tipping is always appreciated. 
  • Effective 1 January 2026, the use of single-use plastic bags is strictly prohibited in all Sabah Parks. This policy is implemented to safeguard the natural environment and protect both marine and forest ecosystems from pollution and long-term harm. Visitors are required to bring their own reusable eco bags when entering any Sabah Parks area.
