How do I book tours/activities from SabahTravel?

You can choose your activity by clicking the ‘Tours’, ‘Tickets’ or our unique ‘Community Tourism’ button, select your preferred package, choose the date, quantity, and local tour operator. Proceed by clicking ‘Book Now’ and you will be directed to the payment page.

Do I need to sign up to purchase tours on SabahTravel?

You can make a purchase without signing up, but we highly recommend for you to sign up with SabahTravel so it is easier to book and check your booking.

Where can I see the total price of my booking?

You will see the total price on the payment page after you have done selecting your activities.

How is the payment process?

You can choose from the convenient payment options on our website, including credit card or debit card, FPX internet banking, and GrabPay.

Which currency does SabahTravel accept?

For now, SabahTravel only accepts Ringgit Malaysia, but we will expand more currency options in the future.

Did you charge me twice since I receive two receipts for one booking?

Normally we will only send out one receipt. If you get multiple receipts, the error might be from the payment platform. You can check your bank account balance a few days after you booked your trip. Contact your bank to release the funds if the authorization is still there.

I have a problem with the payment process. What should I do?

If you’re having a problem paying, you can; a) Try refreshing the payment page, or try again later. b) Try a different card for payment. The card that you’re using might be a rejected card. c) For payment via GrabPay, consider topping up your wallet to ensure sufficient balance, verifying that you haven't exceeded your transaction limits, or settling any outstanding unpaid transactions. How secure is SabahTravel payment process?

How can I get a refund?

Refunds will be based on our cancellation policies. No refunds will be made for cancellations after the tour has commenced or for any unutilised tour services such as transfer, meals & accommodation, sightseeing, or other services. If a refund is required, it will be credited back to you using the same method as when you made payment. Do take note that refunds will be processed within 14 - 28 working days.

I haven't received my refund. What should I do?

Refunds normally take 14 - 28 working days to be processed. If you have not received your refund within this time period, do send us an email at hello@sabahtravel.com.

Do I get my refund through bank or by cash?

Refunds will be credited to you using the same method as when you made payment.

How long do I have to wait for my voucher after completing my payment?

Different activity requires different confirmation time. Generally, the confirmation will either be instantly or within 24-hour time.

How do I check my booking status?

After your payment is confirmed, you will receive an email of Order Summary and your e-voucher coupon. You can use the e-voucher to log into SabahTravel.com to see your activity details.

This cluster of three secluded islands is known for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant marine life, and pristine white sandy beaches, making it one of the best island getaways near Kota Kinabalu.

Enjoy a 60-minute speedboat ride across the South China Sea (subject to sea conditions), followed by snorkelling or diving sessions in clear waters rich with coral reefs and marine life. You can also enjoy light water activities like kayaking or simply relax by the beach.

The islands are also home to the dugong (sea cow), a rare and endangered marine species. While sightings are not guaranteed, spotting one is a special and memorable experience for lucky visitors.

Boat journey to the island may not be suitable for individuals suffering from the following ailments: heart or lung conditions, recent surgery, back or spinal surgery, back problems / injury / fracture, arthritis, osteoporosis or other similar spinal and pelvic diseases. Pregnant women are also not recommended as boat rides tend to be bumpy depending on sea conditions. If you are suffering from similar issues as mentioned above, kindly consult with your physician before enrolling in this activity.
Kindly take note that the safekeeping of your belongings at all times is your responsibility. We do not encourage guests to bring along electronic devices, valuables, and important documents.
Due to the adventurous nature of the tour, children under the age of 5 are not encouraged to participate in the tours.
The age limit for diving with compressed air is 10 years old and above.
You will need to sign the Responsible Diver Code and liability form before proceeding for your dives.

Useful Tips

Your belongings may get wet so do bring along waterproof bags to keep your belongings nice and dry!
Before going out to have some fun under the sun, do bring along a SPF50+ sunscreen / sunblock and an umbrella to protect your skin from sunburns.
Though it is never expected, tipping is always appreciated.
