Important Information

Diver Package

• Diving Schedule & Regulations:
• Diver packages follow the resort's diving schedules and regulations set by the Dive Center.
• Equipment rental is NOT included and requires additional rental charges.
• Included Activities:
• Daily Boat Dives:
• 3 combinations per day at Mataking, Mataking Kecil, and nearby islands.
• Includes weights, weight belt, tanks, and dive guide. (Unused dives are non-refundable and non-transferable.)
• Unlimited House Reef Diving at Mataking.
• Boat Dive Schedule:
• First Dive: 08:30 Hrs
• Second Dive: 11:00 Hrs
• Third Dive: 15:00 Hrs
• Shore Dives:
• Morning Dive: 06:00 Hrs (Exit water by 07:00 Hrs)
• Sunset Dive: 17:00 Hrs
• Night Dive: Conducted from 19:00 to 21:00 Hrs (from Dive Center platform).
• Note: Night divers must provide proof of Advanced Open Water certification (certification cards and/or logbook).

Non-Diver Package

• Non-Convertible:
• The 'Non-Diver' package cannot be upgraded to the 'Diver' package upon arrival.

General Information

Transportation

• Land transfers are only available from Tawau Airport to Semporna Jetty and Mataking Island, and back.
• Transfers from hotels or hostels in Semporna are not provided.
• Scheduled Boat Transfers (Semporna Jetty <-> Resort):
• Semporna Jetty → Resort: 9:30 AM, 12:00 PM,3:30 PM
• Resort → Semporna Jetty: 11:00 AM

Check-In/Check-Out:

• Check-in: 14:00 Hrs
• Check-out: 11:00 Hrs
• Late check-outs may incur additional fees.
• Guests may select their preferred accommodation type when making a reservation. Specific room numbers cannot be requested or guaranteed in advance; the resort will allocate rooms based on availability at check-in.

Health Considerations:

• Boat rides may not be suitable for individuals with:
• Heart or lung conditions
• Recent surgery
• Back/spinal issues, arthritis, or osteoporosis
• Pregnant women are not recommended to join due to bumpy sea conditions.
• Please consult your physician if you have any concerns.

Tour Basis:

• Packages are based on a join-in basis (shared guide and transportation).
• Private guides or tours are available upon request for an additional fee.

Additional Charges

Tourism Tax (TTX):

• Foreign tourists: MYR 10/room/night (paid at check-in).
• Malaysians/permanent residents are exempt (valid ID required).

Semporna Jetty Fee:

• Malaysian & International guests: MYR 10/person.

Diving Restrictions

• Age Restrictions: Children aged 12 and below and senior citizens aged 60 and above are not permitted to participate in diving activities.
• No Diving on Arrival or Departure Days: Diving is not permitted on arrival or departure days.
• Flying After Diving: A minimum interval of 24 hours between your last dive and your flight is recommended. Guests wishing to dive within 24 hours of a flight must sign a Liability/Release Form, subject to approval by the Dive Centre management.
• Weather and Safety Conditions: Diving activities may be cancelled, postponed or adjusted due to adverse weather, poor underwater visibility or concerns regarding a diver's physical ability and fitness.
• Dive Centre Approval: All diving activities are subject to safety assessments and the Dive Centre's final decision.

• Refund Policy:
• Unused dives or portions of the package are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Currency & Rates:
• All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include 0% GST.
• Safety First:
• The resort reserves the right to cancel, delay, or adjust activities for safety reasons.
