the rooms are cozy and well-maintained, offering a rustic yet comfortable stay. Waking up to views of Mount Kinabalu is a highlight. The staff are friendly and helpful, though amenities are fairly basic. It’s ideal for relaxation.

It was a wonderful tour and we learnt so much but it was a shame that some of the food at lunch ran out before we had a chance to try it. Our tour guide was very entertaining and fun.

The trip was one of efficiency coupled with beauty and grandeur. All the logistics were efficiently handled even though our flights were delayed. Things were rearranged and we missed nothing. Our guide was very friendly, informative and had everything covered. The boat excursions were magical, seeing the river at different times. The highlight has to be the elephants. However the river was full of life and the keen eyes of our guide and boat captain missed nothing allowing us to see much more than we would have noticed on our own. The lodge itself was very comfortable and the food was good and plentiful. The staff charming and friendly. It was a magical few days in the magnificent "office" of our guide Asman.

I'll start by saying it was quite tough going in places with some very steep terrain. But I love a challenge so did enjoy it. In fact it's one of the best cycling tours I've ever been on. The scenery was amazing and the rice threshing and rubber plantation was interesting. The hanging bridges were a first and I managed to cycle one of them! Dan our guide was great and obviously loved his sport, he made the tour for us.
