If you want to learn more about Sabah's unique culture, history, and lifestyle, Chanteek Borneo Indigenous Museum is one of the best places to do so. It is located approximately 45 minutes away from Kota Kinabalu in the town of Tamparuli and dedicates itself to educate visitors about their culture through various events and programs offered throughout the year. Their gallery exhibitions are also a great way to get a general insight into how they practiced their culture and lived their lives, with more than 300 Barbie dolls dressed in traditional costumes and depicting different activities. To make guests' experience extra unique and memorable, they can wear different types of costumes as well as accessories worn according to one's social status at the time. Don't forget to take a picture for keepsakes!
