Child Policy

• Child rate is applicable for children between 3-11 years old (By year of birth).
• Infant rate is applicable for infants between 0-2 years old (By year of birth).
• Children must be supervised by the carer at all times. The crew and attendants will not be liable for them.

Pre-Departure Requirements

• Guests are required to bring their passport or MYKAD number for registration.
• Guests must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure at Sutera Marina Jetty.

Onboard Policies

• No outside food or beverages are allowed onboard.
• Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase onboard.
• Consumption of drugs or any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. Please do not dispose of cigarette butts, matches, or cigar ends overboard.
• Due to dim lighting, guests are advised to exercise caution when walking along the jetty at night.
• All guests are expected to behave respectfully toward crew members and other passengers. The operator reserves the right to involve authorities in the event of any violent or unruly behaviour.

Safety & Responsibility

• Guests are required to pay attention to all safety briefings and announcements made by the crew.
• The cruise captain holds full authority over the safety and operation of the vessel.
• Passengers with disabilities must be accompanied at all times. The crew shall not be held liable beyond assisting with boarding.

Changes, Cancellations & Operational Adjustments

• In the event that guests wish to change their travel date, they must inform the operator with valid supporting documentation at least 2–3 days prior to the activity. Last-minute requests will incur a postponement fee (subject to North Borneo Cruise terms & conditions).
• Due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, the itinerary or routing may be modified. Similar standard arrangements will be provided where possible; however, no refunds will be issued in such cases.

Operational Adjustments & Guest Protection Policy

• The operator reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any booking due to operational requirements, capacity considerations, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, affected guests will be notified as early as reasonably possible and offered the following options:

(i) reschedule to an alternative available date or session at no additional charge; or

(ii) receive a full refund of the amount paid.

• The operator will make reasonable efforts to avoid last-minute changes. No additional compensation shall be payable beyond the options stated above.

General Conditions

• North Borneo Cruises reserves the right to make changes to travel arrangements at any time without compensation.
• All prices published are correct at the time of publication but may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as currency fluctuations, increases in transport costs, hotel rates, or government taxes.
