Scuba Schools International (SSI) is a globally recognized dive training agency founded in 1970. Known for its flexible and digital approach to scuba and freediving education, SSI offers a wide range of courses for beginners to professionals. Their training system emphasizes safety, comfort, and confidence, making it easy for anyone to explore the underwater world.

Upon completion, you'll be internationally certified through SSI - qualified to dive up to 18 meters as an Open Water Diver, or 30 meters as an Advanced Adventurer - anywhere in the world. Are You Fit to Dive?

  • Before enrolling, ensure that you are 'Fit to Dive'. Download the RSTC Medical Statement or obtain a medical statement from us and read it thoroughly for your own safety.
  • If you answered 'Yes' to any of the questions, we request that you consult with a physician and ask him/her to complete Page 2 (physician column) of the form. You will need to pass this form to your Instructor prior to the dive activity.

How To Use

  • Operating Hours: 9:00AM - 5:00PM
  • Show your mobile or printed ticket to your guide (subject to supplier).
  • Guests are required to bring photo identification (MyKad or Passport) for registration purposes.

Important Notes

  • Participants must not fly, hike Mount Kinabalu, or join any full-day tours within 18 hours after their last dive. Please plan your travel and tour schedule accordingly.
  • The following conditions are not allowed to participate in the diving activity: hypertension, heart disease, asthma, epilepsy, and pregnancy.
  • If you have a recurring medical condition and wish to participate, you must provide a Doctor’s Letter of Consent. However, participation remains subject to approval by the dive operator.
  • Additional Charges: If participants are unable to complete the required skills or course within the stipulated duration, an additional fee of MYR 430 per person/day (2 dives) will apply.
  •  All guests must sign a Liability/Release Form (Waiver) upon or before arrival. No diving or snorkeling will be permitted until this form is signed and witnessed.
  • Consumption of alcohol during the dive or trip is strongly discouraged.
  • The operator reserves the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation should conditions beyond control render it necessary.
  • For your safety and to protect the ocean, please avoid touching or disturbing turtles, corals, or any marine life. Those who don't follow this rule may be asked to sit out the next dive or snorkeling session.
  • Jellyfish season typically occurs mid-year and/or end of the year. While most are harmless and may only cause mild itchiness, please inform our guides immediately if stung.
  • Though it is never expected, tipping is always appreciated.
