Overview
The KK Jazz Festival returns in 2026 after a five-year hiatus, bringing Kota Kinabalu’s signature celebration of jazz and live music back to the stage. Known as one of Sabah’s most anticipated music events, the festival features a vibrant atmosphere and a diverse line-up of local and international artists performing styles ranging from classic and contemporary jazz to soul, funk, and modern fusion.
More than just a music festival, KK Jazz Festival also supports the community through its charity initiative, with proceeds contributing to local community and performing arts projects in Sabah. The 2026 return invites audiences and visitors from around the region to gather, celebrate great music, and experience the lively energy of Kota Kinabalu.

What to Expect
Catch incredible live sets featuring renowned jazz artists from across the region and around the world.
Join a hands-on session led by professional drummer Arthur Kam, covering essential skills and real-world insights for all levels. Free for all KK Jazz Fest ticket holders. Session timeline : 2 - 4PM, 11 April (Saturday) ; same day, same venue.
Choose between Front (RM105) for closer stage views or Gallery (RM55) surrounding the area — all on a free seating basis, with clear access to facilities and the stage.

Important Notes
- KK Jazz Festival is designed primarily for adult audiences. Children under 12 are not encouraged to attend. However, admission will not be refused, and parents or guardians assume full responsibility for their children’s safety and well-being.
- Gates open at 5:30PM until end of the event.
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Valid ID required for alcohol purchase (21+ only).
- Bag checks and personal searches may be conducted at the entrance.
- The organiser reserves the right to alter or cancel the program due to unforeseen circumstances.
