Take on the Danum Mountain Bike Race 2027, a 90 km ride from W Bay Payang in Lahad Datu to Borneo Rainforest Lodge in Danum Valley. Returning for its second edition, the race takes riders from the coast into Borneo’s 130-million-year-old rainforest. It is billed as Sabah’s longest mountain bike race.

Age Eligibility

  • Open Category: 18–44 years old.
  • Veteran Category: 45 years old and above.
  • Non-participants: Child rate applies to ages 6–12; adult rate applies to ages 13 and above.

Registration & Payment

  • Registration is confirmed only after full payment has been received and verified by the organiser.
  • Incomplete entries or unpaid registrations will be automatically void.
  • Participants may not transfer their registration or change categories unless approved in writing by the organiser.

Event Rules & Safety

  • All participants must comply with the rules and regulations set by the organiser.
  • Participants cycle at their own risk. The organiser will not be held liable for injury, illness, loss, or death before, during, or after the event.
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to undergo a medical check-up before the event.
  • Only registered participants are permitted on the race route.
  • Using another person’s race bib is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification and a ban from future events.

  • The organiser reserves the right to change event details, including the venue, date, time, and route, or cancel parts of the event due to weather, safety concerns, or other unavoidable circumstances.
