What to Expect
Experience Red ROOM, a darkroom-inspired photography exhibition celebrating women in Kota Kinabalu’s bar industry through powerful visual storytelling.
Unveiling perspectives through the lens—Red ROOM presents the works of (from left to right) Tracia Goh, Kenzo Kok, Henry Liew, Aznan Johary, and Samson Liew, each bringing a distinct artistic vision to the exhibition.
Tracia Goh: Tracia shoots from the inside out—blending into the story instead of standing apart. Her candid shots honour the women behind the bar in their truest, most unfiltered form.
Kenzo Kok: Kenzo's lens captures the connection between heritage and craft. His portraits of Drunken Door are rich in culture, colour, and story—mixology with a deep personal touch.
Henry Liew: He doesn’t just take photos—he captures emotions that words can’t express. His work reveals the quiet, raw moments where the soul speaks through the image.
Aznan Johary: He plays with light and shadow to dramatic effect. Known for his bold flash photography and close-up shots, he brings out the smallest details that say the most.
Samson Liew: He brings edge and honesty to his art. His motto? “Don’t get killed by your own art".
At the Red ROOM Bar, top female bartenders from 17/20 Wine Bar, The Other Side, Biru Biru, and Drunken Door collaborate to craft exclusive, artfully curated cocktails.
Join the Photography Talk by Tracia Goh and explore the art of visual storytelling through her unique perspective and creative process.
