Overview

Tattoo art brings people together at the Sabah Tattoo 2026 Convention, held on 7–8 November 2026 at the Kimanis Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Kota Kinabalu.

Artists and studios from 16 countries will take part, giving visitors a chance to see different styles and techniques through live tattooing and competitions. The judging panel includes Nui Sangvisead from Thailand, Christian Nguyen from Switzerland, and Casper Redmer from the UK.

Beyond the tattooing, take time to explore cultural showcases and vendor booths, meet the people behind the work, and enjoy the shared energy of the convention. With a two-day, multiple-entry pass, you can return and experience the event at your own pace.

Important Information & Terms

  • Venue: Kimanis Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Kota Kinabalu, on
  • Date & Time : 7–8 November 2026, from 11:00AM to 8:00PM each day.
  • The RM80 ticket is per person and covers entry on both days and participation in the lucky draw.
  • Freebies such as stickers and vouchers may be available from sponsors and artists, but quantities are limited and not every guest is guaranteed one.
  • You may leave and return during event hours. Please show your booking voucher whenever you enter or re-enter the venue.
  • Guests below 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may get a tattoo only with signed consent from their parent or legal guardian.
  • Each ticket is for one guest across both days. It cannot be transferred or shared and all ticket sales are final.

What to Bring

  • Bring your booking voucher to show at entry and whenever you re-enter the venue. Guests below 18 should attend with their parent or legal guardian.
