Overview
Catch the sunset at Sutera Harbour while discovering Sabah’s crafts, music and traditions at Sutera Sunset Cultural Walk 2026. Held in partnership with the Sabah Cultural Board, the event brings a cultural walk to Kota Kinabalu’s waterfront before the celebration continues into the evening.
Follow six interactive stations featuring traditional textiles, craft demonstrations, music and local flavours. Along the route, see another side of Sabah’s heritage while enjoying the coastal setting. The walk leads towards a sunset gathering with acoustic music.
Come dressed in traditional attire and be part of the occasion, with Walker ticket holders having the chance to win Best Dressed and enter the lucky draw. After sunset, stay for cultural performances and the Cultural Marketplace, while families can enjoy the Kids Cultural Zone. If you’re not joining the walk, a Non-Walker ticket still lets you enjoy the evening festival and explore the marketplace.

Important Notes
- The event takes place on Saturday, 28 November 2026.
- Check-in is from 3:30PM to 7:00PM. The cultural walk begins at 4:30PM.
- Official event materials can be collected at the Covered Tennis Court as follows:
- Walker ticket holders: Two days before the event
- Non-Walker ticket holders: On the event day
- A valid event wristband is required for entry.
- Traditional or cultural attire is encouraged. Walker ticket holders must wear a traditional top to enter the Best Dressed competition.
- Registration is limited to a maximum of 800 participants.
- In adverse weather, activities may be relocated to the Covered Tennis Court.
