This 4D3N Sipadan Snorkelling & Semporna Island Hopping adventure is a rare opportunity for non-divers to access the legendary Sipadan Island – long considered one of the world’s best dive sites – without needing a license. Instead of diving, you'll enjoy professionally guided snorkelling sessions in Sipadan’s spectacular shallows, offering a front-row view of its vibrant reefs, turtles, and schooling barracuda.
The itinerary also includes snorkelling around Mataking Island, Pom Pom Island, and Pandanan Reef. Each location features its own underwater charm, with coral gardens and marine life to explore. With full-board arrangements, gear, permits, and transfers included, this package is ideal for travellers looking to experience Sabah’s underwater beauty without the complexities or cost of scuba diving.

Annual Temporary Conservation Break at Sipadan Island
To help preserve Sipadan’s world-famous marine ecosystem, the island observes its annual conservation break from 1–30 November each year for a period of natural recuperation.
During this time, diving activities at Sipadan will be paused, but the surrounding island resorts remain fully open — guests can still enjoy beautiful dive sites and island excursions in Tun Sakaran Marine Park.
Diving at Sipadan Island will resume on 1 December.
Important Notes
- Guaranteed Sipadan Access: A limited number of daily permits are available for Sipadan. This package includes a confirmed snorkelling permit for one (1) full day.
- This package is designed for non-divers. Scuba diving at Sipadan Island is not included in this package and requires separate permits and certifications.
- The snorkel sites selected for Day 2 – Mataking, Timba-Timba, and Pandanan Reef – depend on sea conditions, weather, and logistical planning. Guests may not visit all three islands.
- No breakfast or dinner included in this package. Only packed lunches are provided on Day 2 and Day 3. Breakfasts and dinners are at your own expense. Local eateries are available within walking distance of the guesthouse.
- A mandatory Tourism Tax (TTx) of RM 10/night/pax is payable by international guests upon check-in.
- Entrance fees to Timba-Timba Island and Mabul Island’s resort area are not included in this package and must be paid by the guest upon arrival:
- Timba-Timba: RM10
- Mabul resort area: RM50
- This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, elderly people with mobility issues, or individuals with heart, respiratory, or other serious medical conditions. Guests over 70 years old must provide a signed health declaration and be accompanied.
- This package is based on a join-in basis of shared guide and transport vehicle. Private guide or tour is available upon request at a reasonable fee. Please inform your tour operator when making the bookings.
- The departure time may vary slightly depending on your hotel location and traffic conditions. We recommend reconfirming with our staff for the exact timing. If your transport is delayed, please contact the number listed on your voucher before arranging alternative options.
- All activities are weather-dependent and may be adjusted to ensure the best possible experience under current conditions.
- Your tour operator reserves the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation should conditions beyond their control render it necessary.
- Effective 1 January 2026, the use of single-use plastic bags is strictly prohibited in all Sabah Parks. This policy is implemented to safeguard the natural environment and protect both marine and forest ecosystems from pollution and long-term harm. Visitors are required to bring their own reusable eco bags when entering any Sabah Parks area.
- All participants must pay attention to all safety briefings and instructions. It is the responsibility of all participants to seek clarification for anything not understood from these briefings.
