Overview
Sepilok Jazz Festival 2026 returns to the Rainforest Discovery Centre in Sepilok, Sandakan, on 4 and 5 September 2026 for its milestone 5th edition. Set within the Borneo rainforest, this two-night music festival brings live performances, international jazz artists, local talents, and the atmosphere of Sepilok’s rainforest setting together in one weekend.
This year’s lineup is led by acclaimed Malaysian singer Shila Amzah, joined by Malaysian jazz musicians and performers from Indonesia, Singapore, China and beyond. Audiences can look forward to jazz, fusion, contemporary sounds and world music, with rising performers also taking the stage through Bakat Sepilok Jazz.
Beyond the music, the festival continues to support sea turtle conservation efforts in Sabah through FOSTER, the organiser behind the event. - Gates open at 6:00PM and close at 10:00PM; no late entries allowed.
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Valid ID required for alcohol purchase (21+ only).
- Bag checks and personal searches may be conducted at the entrance.
- The organiser reserves the right to alter or cancel the program due to unforeseen circumstances.
Booking Confirmation
- Once you have completed your ticket purchase for Sepilok Jazz Festival 2026, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. The email will include your e-ticket, unique QR code, and order summary.
- To ensure a smooth entry, please bring the following to the event:
- A digital copy of your e-ticket on your mobile device, or a printed copy of your e-ticket
- A valid photo ID for age verification and ticket matching, if required
Sepilok Jazz Lucky Draw
- How to enter:
- Purchase 2 x Two-Day Festival Passes in a single transaction by 2 September 2026 to qualify for the Sepilok Jazz Lucky Draw.
- Verify your eligibility during festival check-in and collect your physical lucky draw stub.
- Drop the completed lucky draw stub into the designated box to confirm your entry.
- Terms & conditions:
- 2 winners will be drawn live on stage on 5 September 2026 at 9:00PM.
- Winners must be present during the draw to claim the prize
- Each qualifying transaction is entitled to one lucky draw entry
- The glamping stay is valid until 15 December 2026
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
Complimentary Shuttle Service
- Sepilok Jazz 5 ticket holders can enjoy complimentary shuttle transfers between Ormond Sandakan and the Rainforest Discovery Centre
- Outbound journey: Buses leave Ormond Sandakan at 5:00PM and 5:15PM
- Return journey: Buses leave the Rainforest Discovery Centre at 10:00PM and 10:15PM
- Seats must be reserved at least one day in advance via WhatsApp
- Please arrive 10–15 minutes early and show your Sepilok Jazz 5 event ticket before boarding. Buses will depart on schedule
