Nestled in the lush foothills of Ranau, the Riverside Bamboo Farmstay offers a family-friendly escape that combines cultural authenticity with natural beauty. Built entirely from bamboo, this traditional-style homestay provides a rustic yet comfortable setting where guests can slow down, relax, and reconnect with nature. Families and larger groups can book the entire homestay, creating a private retreat surrounded by greenery.
The property includes a private 2-acre forest reserve with jungle trails, streams, and diverse flora, including the remarkable corpse plant, one of the world’s largest and rarest flowering species. As an official Kinabalu Geopark Partner, the farmstay is committed to eco-friendly living and community-based tourism. Guests can also enjoy seasonal orchard experiences, sampling fresh fruits such as durian, langsat, and mulberry straight from the trees.
Beyond the farmstay grounds, the location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions. Poring Hot Spring is just 4 minutes away, while Kundasang is only a 30-minute drive, offering access to highland markets, farms, and Kinabalu Park. Whether relaxing on the spacious bamboo balcony, wandering forest trails, or discovering local sights, Riverside Bamboo Farmstay is an ideal getaway for families, groups, and nature-loving travellers alike.
